The various government service organisations that have an impact on water sport are clearly present. Organisations such as Promotie Binnenvaart Vlaanderen (‘Flanders Inland Navigation Promotion') and L'Office de Promotion Des Voyes Navigables (‘Office for the Promotion of Waterways') in the Walloon Region provide liaison between waterway users and government organisations and between policy makers and waterway managers.
The major brokers are also represented, along with all water sport federations and organisations. Most of them operate all the marinas in Belgium, with the exception of the BBS exhibitor Marec, the largest freshwater marina complex in Europe. The marinas in the East of England and on the Cote d'Opale in France are also represented, as well as the entire Zeeland delta.
